I saw a turnenstone and it came close to me and it went around me, which that was cool. I never had a bird do that before. But a Runny Turnstone did it. I was so excited about the bird come close to me and went around me.

  1. Connor, that is a great picture of the Rundy Turnstore. I haven’t heard of that kind of bird before so it is nice to see a picture. When you said it went around you, it reminded me of last year when the stellar jay came up close to you to get a peanut. Have you had a stellar jay around your house this year that likes to eat peanuts?

  2. Kind of the Steller’s Jay came around a little bit and we runned out of peanuts, so we can’t feed the Steller’s Jay anymore.

  4. I just sit right there and wait until the bird comes over close. Sometimes I do that, and sometimes I don’t. Bye,bye Uncle Jonathan! Love, Connor.

  5. Connor, that is really a good picture of the turnstone on the rock. It is nice when you can sit so quietly that the birds think you are part of the normal life around them. Sometimes grandpa would do that just to see how close a bird or other animal would come. Since I’ve seen what a nice picture you have, I may take my camera with me when I go hunting in case I see a bird and let it come up close to me without scaring it.
    grandpa.

  6. I sit so quietly like a rock. That’s how the Ruddy Turnstone went all the way around me.
