Alpine-Azalea
Loiseleuria procumbens

Alpine Azalea is a small shrub which forms mats along the ground on alpine ridges. I have read that it grows in bogs at lower elevations as well, though I have not seen it in such a location yet.

Location: Arrowhead-Billy Basin Ridge, Sitka, Alaska
