Melissa Walking Across Owyhee Reservoir

I would guess that the dry mud flats which ordinarily form the bottom of Owyhee Reservoir were created by sediment settling out of the river over the years. I suppose it is possible that the land was flat before the reservoir, but I suspect it was not quite this flat. Melissa can be seen in the distance wandering down towards the river channel.
