Western Spring Beauty Claytonia lanceolata

Melissa and I are trying to make a habit of going to Kamiak Butte for a hike at least once a week for the remainder of the time we are in Pullman. It is interesting to watch the progression of wildflowers now that spring is here. Western spring beauty is one of the first flowers we found blooming in early April.

Location: Kamiak Butte, Washington

Previous: Gray's Lomatium (Lomatium grayi)
Next: Purple-eyed grass (Sisyrinchium inflatum)
