At first I was thinking this was just a short form of the avens I see around town quite commonly. Upon looking it up in my books to make sure, I discovered this was not the case. These were fairly common on the Harbor Mountain portion of the trail, I think. I do not remember seeing so many of them on Harbor-Gavan Ridge or on top of Gavan Hill.
