Heart-Leaved Twayblade Flowers

The books I have describe the flowers as green or purple. These are clearly the purple kind. Most all of the others were green. It also happened that this plant was in a small clearing that got direct sunlight, so perhaps that has something to do with the coloring.

Location: Indian River Trail, Sitka, Alaska
