Crowberry
Empetrum nigrum

I was hoping to see some crowberry flowers this year, but it seems I have missed them. The berry will turn almost black as it ripens. These are common in muskegs and the subalpine.

Location: Indian River Valley, Sitka, Alaska

Next: Unidentified Daisy (Erigeron(?) sp.)
