Red Leaves on Labrador Tea
Ledum groenlandicum

I am not sure why the upper leaves are red. There were a few plants that had similar leaves. At first I thought the young leaves might start out red, but I saw others where the leaves were just coming out and they were green.

Location: Indian River Valley, Sitka, Alaska
