Pearlwort Colony
Sagina sp.

This large patch of pearlwort is on top of an old log that washed ashore in a storm many years ago. There were not really any flowers in bloom, mostly what is seen here are the ripened seed pods.

Location: Lincoln Street Beach, Sitka, Alaska

Previous: Pearlwort Seeds (Sagina)
Next: Lamb's Quarters (?) (Chenopodium album)
