Interested in College in Alaska?

This was one of a couple of different falcons I saw playing chase with some Steller's Jays. I am not absolutely sure it was a Merlin, but I am basing it on the lack of pattern on the head and the call I heard them making (which seems to me to match the call description of the Merlin better than that of the Kestrel).
