Interested in College in Alaska?

Great Blue Heron
Ardea herodius

I kept taking pictures as I approached this bird. I felt a little hesitant (not wanting to disturb it too much), but it was the first time a heron had let me get anywhere near it, so I was kind of excited to get some nice full-frame photos.

Location: Mt. Edgecumbe Ramp, Sitka, Alaska
