Interested in College in Alaska?

Large numbers of what appeared to be mostly scaups with a few other birds mixed in were hanging out not far off the beach at the Halibut Point Rec area. I'm not sure what attracted them except maybe herring (although spawning appeared to have taken place there some days or weeks before).
