While I was taking pictures with the wide angle lense, Connor said, "There's a hawk!" Sure enough, we got a great look at this juvenile Northern Harrier ride the air currents up the side of the mountain. By the time I was able to get the long lens on, the bird was well over our heads. It continued upward to quite a height before gliding on to the south.
