GPS at 47°N 118°W

The military stopped introducing error into the signal given by the gps satellites and as a result (I think) it seemed much easier to find a place which the receiver consistently indicated was the confluence point. (There is still some error which comes from atmospheric conditions, but it is much less than that which had been introduced by the military.)
