Mountains in Morning Sun
I had left Pullman the previous evening with the intention of stopping near
Pendleton to sleep for a while before taking a scenic route to my parents'
in Nampa but since it was pouring down rain in Pendleton I kept driving until
I was out of the worst of it. I ended up sleeping at a rest stop not far from
Baker City, Oregon. I woke up to mostly clear skies with a few clouds hanging
around the mountains.
I took State Route 7 out of Baker City and then went on to State Route 245.
This picture was taken after a few miles on SR 245.
