Looking Up River From Black Pine

I think this picture gives a pretty good feel for the kind of stuff that we climbed on down here. The rock is not vertical, but it is pretty steep. There are some holds for hands and feet, but mostly one must rely on friction to get up. The rock has a very rough texture which certainly helps in that regard.
