Mt. Borah from Birch Creek Road

This picture was taken just after we got on to Birch Creek Road. On the slopes near the base of the mountain, you can see the line formed by the scarp created in a 1983 earthquake. A sign near the trailhead indicates that Mt. Borah gained 7 feet in elevation during that quake. I misremembered the route when I took the picture and so part of the route is not shown in this image.
