Spiders

When I took the picture, I thought there was just one big strange looking spider in the flower. As soon as I looked at the picture, it was clear to me that there were two spiders, and I am not sure why it did not seem that way when I was looking at them initially. I do not know what these spiders are doing, although it seems plausible that the light colored one may have been waiting for an insect to land in the flower. I think the flower is a type of cinquefoil.
