Interested in College in Alaska?

I think this is the sternum of a bird. When I neared this point on the trail, I spooked an eagle. I wondered if it was eating something, but at first I could not find anything. After a bit I noticed these bones on the rock and a pile of feathers a short distance away. I do not know what actually killed it.
