Devil's Club
Oplopanax horridus

The devil's club do not seem to open up as early as some of the other plants around, but they finally started to this week. You can eat the young greens. I have tried them, but they have a pretty strong flavor. (The book I read indicated it was good as a flavoring in other dishes.)
