Opening Leaves

The way these leaves were opening reminded me a great deal of the meadowrue I had seen while in Washington. However, since the hike I saw similar looking leaves in a flower bed that I recognized as columbine. I have seen columbine where this picture was taken, so I suspect that is probably what this plant is.

Location: Harbor-Gavan Hill Ridge Trail, Sitka, Alaska
