Juvenile Golden Plover
Pluvialis fulva

I noticed a bird that did not look quite right in amongst the Black Turnstones. It turned out to be a juvenile Golden Plover. My best guess is that it is a Pacific Golden Plover, though juveniles can apparently be hard to distinguish.

Location: Totem Park, Sitka, Alaska
