Resting Shorebirds

There are at least 5 species of shorebirds seen resting here. In addition, there were three other species nearby along with all of the gulls. The tide was up pretty high, so there was only a small section of beach flats on which they could stay.

Location: Sitka National Historical Park, Sitka, Alaska
