Hermit Thrush Nest
Catharus guttatus

I was looking at some plants when I heard a bird fly very close over my head. We could not figure out where it came from, so we sat back to watch for a while and eventually figured out that it had flown out from this nest which was pretty well hidden right in the open.

Location: Near Point Brown, Kruzof Island
