Huckleberry Stem
Vaccinium parvifolium

The relatively new growth of huckleberries is usually green, but sometimes with sun exposure they can turn red. They can still be distinguished from blueberry bushes (that typically have red stems) by the shape of the stem. Huckleberries have corners, whereas blueberry stems are rounded.
