Western Bog-Laurel
Kalmia microphylla ssp. occidentalis
Kalmia polifolia

Also known as swamp-laurel, this plant is commonly seen in the muskegs around Sitka. When not in flower, it can be mistaken for Labrador Tea. Bog-laurel contains the poison andromedotoxin.
