Twin Flower
Linnaea borealis

This small plant named after Linnaeus (the Swedish 'father of taxonomy') forms loose mats along the ground. These flowers have a sweet fragrence, though I do not find it to be especially potent.

This picture was taken around the first week in July 1998 along a gravel road near Indian River.
