The road up to the giant sequoia was closed to allow it (the road) to dry out. So we got the unexpected "pleasure" of walking a couple of miles up to the grove before we got to start walking around the grove. This meant we had to hurry to see what we wanted before it got dark. This is (I think) the biggest tree in the grove, it has a name, but I don't remember what it is.
