Hidden Canyon
Hidden Canyon
Our second hike for the day was to Hidden Canyon. The main trail goes to Hidden Canyon, then continues on into hidden canyon - sort of. The maps show that the trail goes a short distance into hidden canyon (I don't remember off the top of my head, maybe a mile). However, we kept going and going and though travelling became more difficult, there was never any place where it was clear that the trail did not continue on. We continued past several places that the average tourist would probably have felt uncomfortable going over, and in fact we ended up stopping because we had reached a place where one of our party was uncomfortable continuing on. Which was probably just as well since we could not tell how much further until we reached the end of the canyon or some other appropriate stoppng place and it was starting to get late.

Location: Zion National Park, Utah
